The Oblate is the flagship Chardonnay of our 2024 collection.
Made from clones 95 and 548, all fruit was harvested on 18 October 2024. Whole bunch pressed and co-fermented in stainless steel tanks, the wine was then divided-up for maturation, with the majority spending over 6 months in third-fill Burgundian oak barrels.
Rich and textured with a driving acidity, this is a true Essex Chardonnay. Serve lightly chilled.
